Mr. Daniel James Moualed studied medicine at Cambridge University. He was awarded the Whitby Scholarship during undergraduate studies, and graduated with Distinction in 2008.
In 2012 he moved to the Oxford Deanery to pursue higher surgical training in ENT. During this time he won the Royal Society of Medicine temporal bone competition, and the Oxford Deanery Parker Prize for research. Mr. Moualed was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2018.
He further developed his sub-specialty interest in complex ear surgery through the internationally renowned skull base & auditory implant fellowship in Manchester.
He is actively involved in the support, training, and assessment of junior doctors, is Education Lead for ENT at the Great Western Hospital and is on the Oxford Surgical Training Committee.

Mr. James Morris graduated from Imperial College London. He was also granted a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences with Haematology. He completed basic surgical training posts in the Wessex and South Wales regions. During this time he was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in ENT surgery (MRCS) and Diploma in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS). He went on to complete higher surgical training in all aspects of adult and children’s ENT/Facial Plastic/Head and Neck Surgery in the Severn Region. During this time he undertook training in general ENT surgery as well as sub-specialty head and neck surgery. He also spent 6 months at Bristol Children’s Hospital working in the paediatric airway service. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS-ORL HNS) in 2018.
He now works as an ENT Consultant at Great Western NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon as an ENT, Head and Neck, and Thyroid/Parathyroid Surgeon. He cares for adults and children with a variety of general Ear, Nose and Throat conditions.
He provides sub-specialty care for Thyroid/Parathyroid surgery conditions as well as benign head and neck conditions such as salivary gland disease. He is the Trust MDT Lead for Head and Neck Cancer.
