Procedures & FeeS

Private Medical Insurance

If you have private medical insurance, please check the terms of your policy to determine the type and level of cover you have, including any limits on reimbursement. If you are not sure whether fees will be covered, please contact your insurer before your consultation. Swindon ENT Consultants are recognised by many insurers, and in most cases additional tests or procedures will also be covered. Please note that you are responsible for paying any charges not covered by your insurer.

Self-funding Patients

Consultation fees are outlined below. Included in the fees are any planned telephone follow-up, reasonable response to queries, and correspondence regarding results of investigations. Depending on the nature of the problem, additional tests or procedures may be required to investigate or treat symptoms.

Initial Consultation

£200

Additional Tests

Your Consultant may recommend further diagnostic tests such as blood tests, a hearing test, CT or MRI scans. These may be on the same day, or may require a separate appointment. Fees for these tests will be charged to you separately by the hospital. You will be guided and informed before any test is done.
